Artist Bio

Emily Paterson

Born in Aberdeen Scotland Emily found herself leaving school at the young age of 16, allowing her to start her artistic journey. Initially studying at North East Scotland College in Aberdeen, and after graduating with her National and Higher National Diploma she decided to travel and further study at Forth Valley College in Stirling. It was here that she studied her Higher National Diploma as well as her Bachelor of Arts.
Within Emily’s personal artwork she mainly focuses on issues and struggles she feel strongly about, often creating artwork that is highly personal to the subject or to the artist herself. Within other aspects of her work, she takes on pet and individuals’ portraits on special request. Emily is always up to painting artwork specific to a person’s needs.
